Bikeskills Trail Riding Clinic at Camp Tamarancho with Jiro Nakamura This clinic focuses on beginner/intermediate trail riding skills and techniques.
Bikeskills instructor Jiro Nakamura has competed in virtually every form of mountain competition, from grueling enduro races in Europe to skill-intensive World Cup downhill events. Jiro has developed instructional programs for several cycling organizations, including the cycling team at UC Berkeley, his alma mater.
THE CLINIC:
We will start the day with the fundamentals of basic bike setup. Then we値l head to the trails for detailed instruction. You値l feel much more confident out on the trail after learning the secrets to these key skills: trackstands, switchbacks, braking, lifting the front wheel, j-hop, descending techniques, and negotiating complex terrain.
The clinic will be held at Camp Tamarancho in Fairfax (Marin)預n amazing trail network with challenging terrain suited to all levels of riding ability.

Bikeskills SESSIONS clinic Bikeskills SESSIONS Clinic. Join Jiro for a focused, two-hour clinic that will concentrate on rock gardens, steeps and drop-ins, and selecting technical lines. The clinic takes place at the Rockville Bike Park in Rockville, about 30 minutes southwest of Sacramento, about 45 minutes northeast of Marin. Make sure you bring shin and knee pads, flat pedals, and a full face helmet if you have one. Contact Jiro if you need any of those things. The 2-hour clinic starts at Rockville Bike Park Parking lot at 8 a.m. The cost is $49. Contact Jiro for additional information: jiro@bikeskills.com. Clinic is limited to 10 people.

Bikeskills Santa Monica Mountains clinic with Mark Langton Join Bikeskills' Mark Langton for a trail riding clinic in the Santa Monica Mountains!
Come and learn about climbing, descending, starting and stopping, cornering, and controlling the front and rear wheel.
Mark has been riding mountain bikes since 1983, and has taught mountain biking skills for over 20 years.
Location: Malibu Creek State Park, lower parking lot. 1925 Las Virgenes Rd, Calabasas, CA.
9am-1pm. Please arrive no later than 8:45am to check in.

Bikeskills Focus on the Female Trail Riding Clinic at Breckenridge, CO This clinic focuses on beginner/intermediate trail riding skills and techniques.
Bikeskills instructor Jackie Baker is a pro downhill racer, a former PSIA Level 2 ski instructor, and is passionate about all aspects of mountain biking--from cross country to dirt jumping.
THE CLINIC:
We will start the day with the fundamentals of basic bike setup. Then we値l head to the trails for detailed instruction. You値l feel much more confident out on the trail after learning the secrets to these key skills: trackstands, switchbacks, braking, lifting the front wheel, j-hop, descending techniques, and negotiating complex terrain.
The clinic will be held in Breckenridge, CO. We will depart from Avalanche Sports (540 South Main St.) at 9:00am. We will be riding on singletrack with terrain that will help us gain confidence in our new skills!
