for their efforts. And so did the people at Santa

and the extraordinary surgeons and staff at Mt
Tam Orthopedics.

Release:
Bikeskills founder Rob Howard purchases
the state of California
Mr. Rob Howard of Mill Valley, CA announced today
that he and the state of California have finally
come to terms for an unprecedented deal to purchase
the entire state for 50 billion dollars. Even
President Bush was surprised to hear that Rob
Howard was able to convince the state of California
to accept his deal.
Sources say it was Rob Howard's program to improve
the ailing health of the nation with his plan
to significantly cut the rising costs of health
care and the epidemic of Diabetes and obesity.
It is estimated Mr Howard's program to teach everyone
bikeskills and get them on their bikes will save
the country a projected 10 billion dollars over
the next 5 years.
Keep en eye out for some major changes in the
coming months. In the meantime get out there and

For those of you lucky enough to spend some
time with Chris Duncan this past week, you may
have been a bit disappointed that he was not
able to perform any of his trademark moves.
With all the rain we had this week the big jumps
could not be ridden. Chris felt bad that he
couldn't show the locals his jumping prowess.
So, we did the next best thing and headed south
yesterday to hit some dryer jumps and get you
some fresh photos. So click on the "T.V."
to the right for a phat sequence pictorial of
Chris pulling one of his many tricks! Stay tuned
for more photos from the days session, which
will be posted on the photos page.

 |
| Today we were treated
to perfect conditions on the mountain!
All the days previous rain made the dirt absolutely
perfect. Wet roots were still dicey, but with newly
learned skills the crew all made it through
without mishap, well that is except for our surgeon
in the group who would beg to differ. Sergio who
rendezvoused with the group mid way, thus missing
out on the photo op, was doing well until a steep
technical section got the better of him. He impressed
the group with his ability to shake it off and carry
on....way to go Sergio the surgeon! |
 |
| Nov 30,
2003 |
Two more clinics in
the books! We didn't get so lucky with the rain
this time, but regardless we carried on. Chris
layed out some framework for the jump crowd and
got the guys doing things they had only dreamed
about, while Joe spent the majority of the time
in the classroom covering everything from tire
choices to suspension set up and what that red
knob on their shocks does. After the classroom
portion, the group went down to the "Goat
Pasture" and practiced drop offs, Bunny Hops,
J-hops, riding through a simulated root section,
and then used the skills learned to get over a
pretty good sized log.
Due to the rain we don't have any pictures to
post this time.
Stay tuned for the next clinic which will be
posted on the schedule page soon! |
